Hey man, I have Permanent Tinnitus+Hyperacusis, Sounds physically hurt me, all the time so its difficult for me to "enjoy" sound and extremely difficult to work with other people. (this came on due to some Dbag Felon injuring me against my will, and law enforcement refusing to enforce the law...etc etc...taught me a lot about the world...) the doctors just want to cut me up and reach in the pocketbook... I dont think you should ever stop making music. Use spectrograms, scopes, A.B. eq, whatever you have to. Use it as a tool to learn about health. I use my tinnitus as a tuner lol, its a DbMaj9 chord! If Bach/Beethoven/and countless unsung heroes can continue to do it, SO CAN WE, because regardless if we hold them as otherworldly icons, we are all human and share the strength of humanity. Tons of musicians eventually have hearing problems. Just like fighters breaking their hands...sometimes it just happens man! Keep fighting!

I feel like music would have been much easier for me to learn if sharps and flats were just named a combination of the 2 notes they can be named after. For example, A sharp and B flat being named AB would just make so much more sense in my mind. This would be similar to northeast (NE), directionally, as opposed to calling it both north sharp and east flat. Even the idea of sharpening or flattening a note is something I easily understand. It just feels like the noun has been unnecessarily merged with the verb in this case.

Let me try to explain what a brain wave is: You have a whole bunch of neurons in your brain that produce an electric field when they transmit information. The headband measures the total electric field, kind of like the average of all your neuronal activity. Now sometimes some of the neurons kind of sync up and start firing at the same time, at a constant frequency. When this happens, we call that a brain wave. Depending on the frequency the brain waves are classified as different Greek letters. And different frequencies and intensities are associated with different activities. A calm, focused brain will produce cleaner brain waves, whereas a distracted brain will produce a whole bunch of uncoordinated activity. I hope this helps someone :)
